Newman Venture Advisors, LLC. (NVA) was founded in 2005 and is based in Boulder, Colorado. NVA is committed to providing world-class strategic fundraising and advising services to exciting technology companies in the software, internet, telecommunications, media and entertainment industries.

Jerry Newman - Senior Partner
Jerry, a 39 year veteran of the securities and investment banking universe, has managed NASDAQ Trading groups at Merrill Lynch and Hambrecht and Quist, was a ten year senior partner at Cowen & Co. in both institutional sales and trading, created the Venture Capital Coverage efforts at Cowen, JP Morgan, and for the past seven years ran that group at Bear Stearns. He has been a trusted advisor and mentor to early stage start ups and their management teams, has been a filter of early stage deal flow to the venture capital community on a global basis, has made selected personal investments as well as having board responsibilities, and during his very active investment banking career was involved in more than 50 IPO transactions.
Ari Newman - Founder and Principal
Ari has over 12 years experience in developing and delivering high-tech solutions. Ari has been involved in numerous technology companies in various roles and stages of evolution. Prior to starting Newman Venture Advisors, Ari held various senior management positions at CreekPath Systems in the areas of client services and product management and strategy. Prior to CreekPath, he held various senior management positions in network operations, professional services, and sales engineering at Novell and Volera (a Novell spin-out). Ari was also a founder of JustOn, a successful ASP sold to Novell in 2000. He received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the Leeds School of Business at University of Colorado.
